Chicken Pox Boy!

Somehow Somewhere Davis got the chicken pox last month. Everybody said it was for the best because he was so little ( 4 1/2 months) and wouldn't remember and couldn't scratch. Well, his mama remembers how he itched because he squirmed a lot - a lot. We're all glad its over. Miller only got a few spots - maybe 7 or 10. He has had the vaccine and had a very very mild case. I don't even think he knew he had it. Check out Davis' pretty blue eyes!

Fishing!

This past Sunday, We took Miller fishing at Pop and GeeGee's Lakehouse. Pop and Caroline were already fishing, but hadn't caught much. Miller caught this small brim and was so excited. He needed a little help "reelin'" him in. Next Caroline caught a big catfish. She could hardly hold the pole! Miller got a little jealous of her big fish. The last pic is of him pouting! He got over it.

Kids say the darndest things

Just an update on Miller. This morning he grabbed by cross necklace and ask me if it was the Holy Spirit. "Close", I told him. I guess if you were going with the trinity he would have been right. Check out this video of him saying his prayers.

Rolling Over!!

Davis rolled over for the first time the other morning( March 8th). I went to check on him and he was face up in his bed. He sleeps on his stomach. So, I didn't even get to see it. I put him on the floor the next morning and got it on video! Here he is taking pictures with Miller and accidentally tumped over.

Hanging Out

Hanging with the boys!

Monster face for the monster puzzle!

I think Davis has two dimples. This one's kinda blurry - but too cute!
OK - for the life of me, I can not get a video to upload - so, if you want to see it go to youtube and search for miller and davis holt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U506Fx5kL5w Maybe the link will work. That being said this week has been full of ups and downs. Miller is getting over the stomach bug - which lasted only 12 hours, but that was long enough. Davis has been having his own stomach problems for the last week. After 1 trip to the doctor, 1 vomiting episode and many, many dirty diapers I think things are on the up and up.

PlayDoh

Miller and I played with playdoh the other day. He was so proud of the pancake he made. Here he is showing it off.

I told miller we were gonna make faces for the camera. I told him to laugh like I said something funny. You can see just a little overkill.

This is his thinking face.

Miller is at such a fun age now. He is almost potty trained. We just switched to big boy underwear that are so cool because they have Elmo on them. The child loves anything Elmo or Mickey Mouse. We are going to Disney World in May and he wakes up every morning and asks if its May yet. I know, we've got a lot of mornings to go. He also loves anything LSU or with Tractors. We wants to be Tim. He has to wear farmer clothes. This consists of Khaki pants, Circle H T-shirt, boots and a belt. Tim had some shirts made for himself with our farms name on them and Miller cried when we got them because he didn't have one. I told him that we would get some and he buried his head in my shoulder and said that he just wanted to be like his Daddy. Apparently the T-shirt was a very vital part of being Tim. Sometimes when his Circle H t-shirts are dirty I have to convince him that farmers work in many different things.

Davis on the other hand rarely complains. He cries when I try to burp him and when he needs changing. He is smiling a lot lately and I love when he coos. Miller calls him Boo Boo. Apparently, I call him that a lot and didn't know it. He has been sleeping through the night since he was about 10 weeks or 2 1/2 months. He's now 3 months and 1 week. I promise more pics of him soon, I was having technical difficulties uploading.
